Prof. Éric Hachulla serves as the French National Hub for ERN ReCONNET, the European Reference Network dedicated to rare and complex connective tissue diseases. This role aims to strengthen the integration of the European network within the French healthcare system in collaboration with the FAI²R network.

As National Hub, he officially represents ERN ReCONNET in France with health authorities, scientific societies, expert centres, and patient organisations. He coordinates national stakeholders involved in the management of connective tissue diseases and rare autoimmune diseases, ensuring equitable access to expertise across the country.

The Hub also contributes to the operational deployment of European tools: use of the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS), participation in European registries, dissemination of diagnostic tools (“Red Flags”), and organisation of national awareness initiatives.

This strategic responsibility reinforces the position of the FAI²R network at the European level and strengthens the link between national coordination and cross-border expertise for the benefit of patients.
