She lives in Vila Franca de Xira, near Lisbon, capital of Portugal. Vera is a clinical psychologist at Vila Franca de Xira hospital in a oncology unit and member of a palliative care team. Vera has been living with the MCTD since 2007, time of diagnostic. Experience in helping chronic patients coping with their diseases, and psychotherapy. She is also an active EULAR Patient Research Partner.
