Antiphospholipid Syndrome (APS) is a systemic autoimmune disease with the highest prevalence in women of childbearing age, characterized by venous and/or arterial thrombosis, pregnancy complications and the presence of specific autoantibodies called antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL).
