The ERN ReCONNET National Hub Luxembourg is based at the Centre Hospitalier de Luxembourg (CHL) and serves as the official national reference point for ERN ReCONNET within the country.

The Hub acts as a bridge between the European Reference Network and the Luxembourg healthcare system, fostering collaboration among healthcare professionals, patient organisations, national scientific societies, and competent authorities.
In 2026, the Hub aims to strengthen national visibility of ERN ReCONNET, promote the systematic use of the Clinical Patient Management System (CPMS), support national participation in the TogethERN ReCONNET Registry, and enhance dissemination of ERN educational initiatives.

The Hub also supports the implementation of ERN clinical tools, including diagnostic “Red Flags”, and contributes to equitable access to European expertise for patients with rare connective tissue and musculoskeletal diseases in Luxembourg.

Within the national healthcare framework, structured referral pathways and expedited evaluation processes have been established to facilitate timely assessment and coordinated follow-up of patients with suspected rare connective tissue diseases. These pathways operate through the appropriate medical referral system and in alignment with ERN ReCONNET principles.
