Ramona Luciu
Ramona Luciu is an ERN ReCONNET ePAG representative for Undifferentiated Connective Tissue Disease (UCTD) and a member of ART (Association of Patients with Inflammatory Rheumatic Diseases in Transilvania).
She is from Romania, with a degree in Ecology and a background in Logistics. She has been diagnosed with UCTD in 2021. She is a patient advocate with the aim of contributing to the dissemination of accurate information about the disease, the highest specialized medical institutions that can provide them with modern services, based on the latest therapeutic and care options. Last, but not least her goal is to find a way of helping UCTD patients to become aware of the fact that they can find within themselves the coping mechanisms to their new, challenging reality.
ART was founded in 2009, with the aim of contributing to improving the quality of life of patients with rheumatic diseases. ART Objective is educating patients and their families about the disease, its evolution, therapeutic options, compliance with treatment, hygienic-dietary regimen. ART Mission is to support patients and patient organizations to act unitedly and efficiently to defend and promote patients’ rights. ART Vision is a world with a strong and influential patient movement, where medical and social systems are based on the real needs of patients. ART projects: – Education Project for Patients with Rheumatoid Polyarthritis – Educational program for improving the quality of life of patients with inflammatory rheumatism – Project to increase adherence to biological therapies.
