ERN ReCONNET is pleased to announce the endorsement of two upcoming scientific meetings, further reinforcing its commitment to advancing knowledge, collaboration, and best practices in the field of rare and complex connective tissue diseases.

The first endorsed event, the International Symposium on Sjögren’s Disease (ISSjD 2026), will be held from 29 September to 2 October 2026 in Paris, France. This major international meeting will bring together clinicians, researchers, and patient representatives to share the latest scientific advances and foster collaboration in Sjögren’s disease. Notably, patient involvement is a key component of the symposium, with patient representatives actively contributing to the programme and scientific discussions.

The second endorsed event, the IV Conference on Systemic Autoimmune Diseases, will take place on 28 April 2026 at Vall d’Hebron University Hospital in Barcelona. This conference will focus on the latest developments in systemic autoimmune diseases, covering advances in diagnosis, biomarkers, imaging techniques, and emerging therapeutic approaches, including biologics and innovative treatment strategies. Key disease areas addressed include Sjögren’s syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, systemic sclerosis, antiphospholipid syndrome, idiopathic inflammatory myopathies, and IgG4-related diseases.

Both events represent important opportunities for scientific exchange, dissemination of cutting-edge research, and strengthening collaboration across the ERN ReCONNET community and beyond.
