DG SANTE Visit to the Coordination Team of ERN ReCONNET

On September 29-30, we had the honour of hosting in Pisa the European Commission DG SANTE delegation, composed of Donata Meroni and Stefano Vettorazzi, for an in-depth visit focused on ERN ReCONNET.

This visit provided a valuable opportunity to discuss with DG SANTE the key activities of ERN ReCONNET, including the development of clinical guidelines, registries, research, training initiatives, and the integration of care at both national and European levels, as well as the important role of the network in the broader European rare disease policy framework and its collaborations with other ERNs.
