In this Webinar Silvia Aguilera will provide the experience of a patient and highlight the importance of specific management in rCTDs; Marta Mosca will provide an overview of the clinical management of pregnancy in rCTDs.
Silvia Aguilera is the European Patient Advocacy Group (ePAGs) Patient Representative for Antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) within the ERN ReCONNET. She is a member of the board of the APS Spanish Association (SAF España), where she is in charge of the international relations, contributing also as website content editor and as part of the social media managing team.
Silvia is a chemical and industrial engineer and she currently lives in Switzerland with her son Théo. Silvia and Théo are severe preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome survivors.
Prof. Marta Mosca is the Coordinator of the ERN ReCONNET and Associate Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Pisa, Chief of the Rheumatology Unit of Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Pisana in Pisa, Italy, where for more than 20 years she has been running a Pregnancy clinic for rheumatological diseases.
Prof. Marta Mosca has coordinated the development of EULAR Recommendations for monitoring SLE patients in clinical practice and observational studies, of quality measures in SLE and of a core set of measures to be used in clinical practice to standardize patients care. Her clinical and research interest include Systemic autoimmune diseases, particularly Systemic lupus erythematosus, rare connective tissue diseases, Patient Reported Outcomes and Pregnancy
